At Studio-IRIS, we design rings that reflect who you are, not what is trending. Crafted with care from recycled gold and responsibly sourced stones. Beautiful enough to last a hundred years, personal enough to belong only to you.

THE PROCESS

From first conversation to your ring, in four steps

EXPLORATION



We meet in our Rotterdam studio (or wherever you are, virtually) and simply talk. About what you're drawn to, what you want to carry forward, what feels like you.
Bring a photo, a feeling, a stone you've been thinking about. Or come with nothing at all.

Focus: Discovering your visual language and the story behind the ring.

Duration: 30 min – 1 hour

Costs: Free of charge

VISION & CONCEPT


This is where ideas become form. I translate what we uncovered in our conversation into several sketches, exploring proportion, detail, and character until something lands. We refine together, until the concept feels balanced and true to you.

Focus: Grounding your ideas into a tangible design.

Duration: 1–2 weeks

Costs: €200 design credit deducted in full from your final investment.

CREATION


Your ring takes shape in my Rotterdam studio, by hand. I work with recycled metal and responsibly sourced stones, chosen with the same care as the design itself. This is the quiet, slow part and the most important one.

Focus: Transforming vision into something you'll wear for the rest of your life.

Duration: 6–8 weeks

Costs: 65% of total amount

COMPLETION

Your ring arrives ready to be worn. It comes in our FSC-certified packaging alongside a personalized carbon footprint report and care instructions, because the story of how something was made is part of what makes it worth keeping.

Focus: The moment it becomes yours.

  • Iris made the engagement ring for my future wife. I already had a fairly clear idea of ​​what the ring should look like. I challenged Iris by applying a technique she had never used before. During the process, clear agreements were made, and we met after every step to determine how to proceed. Iris skillfully gauged the direction I wanted to take, offering suitable suggestions. The communication and updates throughout were pleasant. The end result is a beautiful ring.

  • Custom rings start from approximately €700 in sterling silver and €1,200 in 14k recycled gold. After our first conversation, I put together a no-obligation quote tailored to your design.
